About Us
On April 7th, 1982, Clay and Sherry Jacks opened the doors of Fayetteville Cycle Center for the first time. At opening, Fayetteville Cycle Center carried the Kawasaki brand of motorcycles and ATVs, with Honda coming about a year after that. The first four years saw us grow tremendously, especially with the popularity of the Honda 3-wheelers. After moving to a few different locations, Fayetteville Cycle moved into our home for the next twenty years at 1930 Wilson Parkway. We became exclusively Honda in 1987, then picked up the Polaris brand in 1990.
Our first staff consisted of Clay Jacks doing selling and parts, Sherry Jacks doing the office work, and one more employee doing service work. Clay and Sherry's two young sons, Heath and Robbie Jacks hung around after school and helped do odd jobs around the shop. Today, the whole Jacks family is still involved full-time with the store. We also employ a full-time staff of seven more employees, for a staff of 11. And, they all adhere to Clay and Sherry's philosophy, "Treat everybody like you expect to be treated yourself, only better!" This business philosophy has been the reason that Fayetteville Cycle has a tremendous word-of-mouth reputation. We sell to customers in several states, and many people drive by a couple of other dealerships just to do business with us!
